Dear Sir,
At the 28th of May we, four ladies and gentleman, visited your
market in La Grange. We were from Holland. You were so
kind to give us fresh coffee and we promised you to write you
whether we liked the coffee or not. Well, sir, it was a
real nice coffee, a good taste and oh, the smell! Coffee!
It is also very good for making a capuccino, or caffee latte,
for this you need a coffee which a bit strong. And I like my
coffee black, than the taste must be a little strong, this was
perfect for me!
I keep the bag, as a souvenir from La Grange and will always
remember this. What a kind people in Kentucky-Indiana and
what a beautiful countries, the nature was overwhelming for us.
You can find silence, which you will not find in our country
anymore. But Holland is o so small. Kentucky is 2,5 times bigger
than Holland and we have nearly 17 million people!

My wife Connie and I (the couple who moved here from CA) love
the Coal Car coffee you graciously gave us last week. It
has a full, rich flavor yet none of the excessive acidity that
often plagues strong roasts. Great job and cheers to the
roaster. I'm drinking some right now!

By the way - I wanted to put a plug in here for Chris and
LaGrange Coffee Roasters. It is REALLY good coffee! I am
convinced Chris has become an artist, and his fresh roasted
coffee is a work of art. I have bought it for myself and also
for gifts for friends and family, and everyone loves it. My
brother and his wife are crazy coffee drinkers, so I bought them
some as a gift. When they visited here recently they had to get
a couple more bags because they loved it so much.
So,
give it a try if you like great coffee!

Thanks for the Guji! We all liked
it a lot. So we did a few rounds of head-to-head taste tests
with the Guji and Coal Car and the winner was... Coal Car, by a
nose. Both are really tasty. (One of my kids said "I love Coal
Car!". So I think we have a winner. :-)
We have also had a lot of coffee-drinking company recently --
*everyone* has complimented your coffee!
It's been great to see them take that first sip and say "Mmm.
This is good coffee."

Just wanted to thank you for
bringing the coffee by this weekend. We really enjoyed the
great coffee and the beautiful snow. In a world where
service and relationships are disappearing it's really nice
to see you have a different approach. Let me know if you
will be selling anywhere between now and the 18th. I think
I'd like to buy some coffee for a few friends for x-mas.

I visited your booth at Oldham
County Day this year. I sampled, bought and am now a
dedicated fan! It is THE BEST COFFEE I HAVE EVER TASTED!
I'm a 40+ wife and mom, and am in no way an expert, but I drink
coffee every day and know what tastes good.
I hope this venture works for
you and you can maintain the quality and integrity of the coffee
bean. Thanks for offering your talent and product to us
